He has a great style, and unique tuning. I have to look it up again. He has quite a few videos out there.

I reached out to him a few years ago now, and he mentioned wanting to do a video regarding his tuning. Not sure if he has or not.

I have set up a lot of instruments with unique tunings. But... I remember being a bit stumped by his .

He's a good singer too.

Mr. Mims conformed via Facebook that his tuning indeed is BDEF#ABDE.

That tuning looked familiar for some reason. Well, DUH! His top seven strings match 2 through 8 on the D13 I use on my 10 string:

My D13: A C D E F# A B D E F#

Mine is the Tom Morrell tuning dropped a whole step, with 5th instead of root on string 10.

I really enjoyed his playing and vocals and will be hunting for more.
