I need to thin the herd a bit, so the Melobro need to go.
Made by Ted Smith. Lots of info about these guitars on Teds Website.
What a rare gem! The Melobro Raybay resonator steel guitar. Hand crafted in the USA by Melobar (well known for their stunning slides), and is one of less than 30 ever made. The Melobro is unique in that it is made of fiberglass and has a solid mahogany neck and tail block. It has a large sound chamber and that means huge sound, which is why it has affectionately been called the Banjo-Slayer. Jeff Peterson, long time steel player for Clint Black, is an avid Melobro player. Even playing one at the ACM awards and on tour.
Melobros are no longer in production and practically never come to market, don't miss out on this opportunity to own a rare piece of lap steel history.
It is in great shape, plays welll and comes with a hard steel case. 1,250.00 plus shipping charges. NOW $1,000.00
NO TRADES PLEASE!!!!!!
