If all you did was to practice the weekly technique exercises you would get more than your moneys worth. Beside that, you likely would see overall improvement to your playing. I played my first gig on pedal steel last weekend in a local pub. I didn't know most of the songs the guy did as most were originals. It came off better than I expected but I know that if not for William's instruction I would not have been able to keep up. I relied on those phrases I've practiced from the techniques exercises. It really does pay. |
