They’re lower return compensators for strings that both have a raise and a lower

Sorry just came back home after a few days away.
They are compensators that help you get a little more precise
tuning when you raise and lower on the same string and the string doesn't
quite come back in perfect tune .You can adjust.I have set them and
rarely touch them.Thanks Don
