Hello all. I have a 2017 basic (pro) version. I want to change from an accompaniment piano, to a soloist piano at the bridge, or intro, etc. Is that possible, and how would I do that ? Thanks, BILL

You need both an accompaniment piano and a soloist piano. You may have to generate a soloist track. Then you can mute and unmute each by right clicking on the bar you want the change to occur on, then click on Bar Settings in the popup box, and then click on the volume change for each instrument you want to change and mute or unmute.
You can generate a soloist track by right clicking on Soloist at the top and make your choice in the popup box. Only one piano will play at a time, I think. If you try to play both at the same time, the original piano may change to another instrument.

Thanks Norman. I can load soloists, etc., but was unaware that I could mute whatever, and have it end up permanent. I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks again. BILL

As a general principle, regardless of what software we're discussing, even if an instrument change is possible it's usually better to create them separately. They're likely to require different treatment (level, reverb etc.)
