Can any of you guys who are good at Tabledit tell me how to shorten the space between A and the fret number and widen the space between tab lines.

Also, I have a lot of 2 to four line licks like the one below that are individual scores. Is there a way to combine a number of these onto one page without cutting and pasting one at a time? I mean as in append one tef file to another.

My eyes have given out trying to find this in the manual.

Hi James

If you mean on the printed tab? then you could reduce the number of measures per line in Options/Printing.

If you mean in the screen display then you could change the scaling in the View or by clicking the note on the left of the measures ruler. (one click cycles to the next value)

The spacing between the pedal & fret number will be fixed by the font that you are using. I've never altered this but you could try different fonts until you find something that works...

I have no idea about howto append .tef files. Perhaps you could ask on the TablEdit Groups. You can join from here:- http://www.tabledit.com/contact/index.shtml

Hope this helps

Thanks for the input. I found a way to reset the program to its defaults and that took care of it. I am convinced there is no way to merge two tef files.
