I happened on a picture of Buddy Emmons with his new Zumsteel back in 2007. With the picture it listed Buddy's pedal and knee set-up, on both E9th and C6th necks. What caught my eye was the E's to F's lever on the E9th. It showed that lever also lowering the B to a Bflat. So engaging that lever would raise both E's to F's and also lower B to Bflat.
I talked to Doug Earnest about that and Dough said Bruce built a special lever that would engage and lower the B to Bflat. What kind of cord change would this bring about? The only thing I can think of is---- F is the 5th of the Bflat cord.

Combined with the A pedal, it would produce a C natural.

Add the B pedal for an A natural.

F A C
