Long-time San Antonio restaurateur and bandleader Richard Hailey passed away on November 1st. I had the honor of working on two albums with Richard, and played with him occasionally on live dates. My wife worked for him as a consultant for his “Pig Stand” restaurant chain.

Richard was a kind and caring individual who loved steel guitar and country music. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. R.I.P. dear friend.
