Here is my take on Jerry Gleason's arrangement, which is in turn based on Hank Garland's track on 'Jazz Winds from a New Direction'. Jerry says, "Close, but unfortunately, no cigar", adding that he plays certain licks in different positions.

Nice arrangement guys, thanks for posting it! Have a question for the guitar player. I play non pedal steel and also jazz guitar. You have a nice tight, snappy, percussive tone. Can you tell what type of strings you use and the amp you use? I seem to have trouble getting a clear tone with Flatwounds.

Thank you, Tim, Steve and Carey.

Carey, my man reports “ Dunlop EXL145 set. Round wound with a plain G.‘, a Fender Blues deluxe (nothing special) but adds that the Gibson Tal Farlow has a 25.5” neck ‘which gives it a bit more snap.

Thanks for tabbing and scoring that, Guy. Looks pretty accurate to me. I really liked your version on 8-string resonator, too.

I also really appreciate the tabbing and scoring. I first heard the tune via Jerry Gleason on YouTube. I like the chord voicings on the McAuliffe E13 but was having a hard time making sense of them for some reason. Seeing this tune on paper was a huge help!
