I am selling an incomplete (About 80%) Lap steel build I was working on a few years back.
I lent it to a friend to drill out the string through holes and was shocked at what I saw when I picked it up. I could fix the misaligned ferrules but I just don't have the time and Im sick of seeing this beautiful piece of Black Walnut just sitting in the corner.
Inlayed with Curly maple and Pearloid. Its its truly striking in person. Some really cool "defects" or knots in the rear. They look great in person, not so much in the photos. This guitar is made from the the center of the log and has the first growth rings at the tip of headstock. Really a cool piece. Im just not going to complete it.
I have a fretboard (made specifically for this scale. 24 1/4") a 12 string Wallace true tone, and a Carter 12 string Keyhead complete with 12 Schaller tuning machines.
I will accept offers . Im reasonable and would like to see this complete.
I also will include pearloid pickguard material, and a a piece of nice birdseye maple to inlay into string ferrule area/pickup route (which was a rough cut to remove material for later.) Thanks for looking.
Jeff
