I'm getting ready to buy a 10-string John Hughey bar from BJS. I have a standard 12-string BJS I will be selling. Thought I'd see what's out here first.

Anyone want to trade? Anyone have a JH 10-string bar to sell?

Thanks!

Truth be told, I very well MIGHT have a JH bar among the 10+ BJS bars I’ve accumulated over the last several decades (and which I finally figure I ought to sell). How can I recognize if one of these is a Hughey bar?

I have contacted both of the guys above with no reply. Anyone have one?

Thanks again, I'm looking for a 10-string John Hughey 7/8 bar that weighs about 7.4oz.

If memory serves, I think 10 string Hughey bars are 15/16” and have the equivalent weight of a regular BJS 7/8” bar.

BJS makes a 10-string, 7/8 bar at 7.4oz.

I thought the same as you until I discovered this!

All the 7/8" bars there other than the 8-string one seem to be perpetually sold out. Is there a secret way to actually order one?
