If nobody gets back to you on this, try contacting Forumite Walter Stettner - if he doesn't know, nobody does! Here's the site he put together but unfortunately it seems like the only sound clip missing is Mr. Nashville Sound Sad

Hi Josh,

Tim is correct, the track is "Mr. Nashville Sound" from Lloyd's first Chart LP from 1967. Here is the cover:

Great album, as all of them are! Very Happy

Kind Regards, Walter

Forgot to add: If you check the "Recordings" section of the website www.lloydgreentribute.com you will find detailed information about Lloyd's recording career, including the instrumental albums, a list of artists he recorded with and the list of the #1 hits Lloyd played on.

The "Soundclips" section does not include full tracks for copyright reasons (with very few exceptions), only parts of songs that show Lloyd's incredible feeling when it comes to backing up a vocalist.

Kind Regards, Walter

as I have said MANY times.. LLOYD. IS. THE. FREAKING. MAN.

I've been to the tribute site but i'll look again.. its been a while...

I love the instrumental albums so much.

That is one the best steel guitar albums, in my opinion. I have it on vinyl. I need to bring it out of the box it is packed away in.

Agreed. One of my favorite albums as well, and Lloyd's instrumental of "Too much of you" is probably my favorite cut off the album.

Second hand, for $40 and up!

If anyone has mp3's and/or FLAC's to share, since it's out of print, that would be great. I could provide a download link, if you wanted to send it to me.

Don't shoot the messenger, Jim - I'm not selling it, Amazon is. The price is whatever the market will bear.... Neutral

Josh, I'm looking forward to that video! Part two of Mr. Nashville Sound is an unsolved miracle to me ... I just don't understand what the hell he played there. And all the Lloyd Green scolars that I know don't have clue either. Lloyd is just too smart for this world!
