My new Lehle Volume Pedal was the culprit giving my Evans amp too much high end. The Evans amp is very bright to begin with and you only need to run the treble 1 1/2 or lower. There was just not enough room to cut the treble down enough. Using the Lehle with any other amp should not be a problem. You can just cut down the treble.

Brad Sarno nailed it and went to the trouble of looking up the specs on the Lehle. He suggests I make up a cord with a 500K resistor in line to go from the guitar to the Lehle. I am going to do that and hopefully, that will take care of the issue. If that fails, then I will looking at a Black Box and/or amp mod.
