Hi All
When I first posted this tune,I played the Lead on my Strat and used the Steel for the chords.
It was suggested by someone that I should play the Lead on the Steel, not the Strat,so here it is.
I think the intonation may go out in some places, but your comments would be more than welcome.
Considering I have only been playing 7 weeks,I don't think it's too bad,but there is room for improvement.
Thanks for listening.

Alan this is terrific. Most impressive, even (or perhaps especially) for a seasoned guitarist, is your bar intonation which is superb throughout. Great tone, great blocking, the whole thing.
Man, I wish I was doing this well! I can't think of anything to suggest for your next step except maybe steal a few ideas for runs and licks from the greats. That always works!

Alan, sounds great man! Your intonation and timing sounds right on to me. I've always liked that tune and might give it a whirl myself. Thanks for the inspiration. |

Fantastic!
It reminds me of the more traditional-style playing.
Applause.

Good job Alan, I'm proud of you. Your intonation sounds like you had been playing a lot longer, but I know when you started. Keep doing what you're doing, maybe work on some scales to add a little single string lead. The steel you bought sounds good to me.

Wish I'd learned lap steel when I still had a lap. |
