| I just want to thank Bob and the Steel Guitar Forum for his speedy service on a order I place for strings the other day as the postal service delivered them this afternoon plus they were cheaper than other merchants. |

Ya, the Forum for strings, and for the oddities -> although there has been much hand-wringing and woeful sighing of late, I'm still not convinced that Guitar Center/Musician's Fiend/Sam Ash/McDonald's/CIA/The MACHINE* is so bad off they need me to rescue them with my money. There's still a few little local stores alive, and if you ask them they can usually order ANYthing (unless The MACHINE has them in their Vice-Like Pincers of Business Doom). Paying retail price with no shipping charge is usually about the same as your FANTASTIC! FIVE!-PERCENT! DISCOUNT!!! kinda thing from The MACHINE. We are what we buy.
*(All under the Vice-Like Control of Walt Disney's frozen head(?)(!!!) |
