Here is the next lesson in C6th chord melody.
$20.00 plus $2.00 shipping
SAMPLE HERE
Swingin the Standard
C6th chord melody
Lesson three
I love you because
By Ron Hogan
Take this standard tune “I love you because†and swing it on C6th vs. E9th. This gives it a whole different feel. It allows the student to learn chord melody on C6th, using a very basic setup. This is the famous ride every steel player should know on C6th and probably has heard. Now you can play it.
C6th tuning-D on top RL knee-Lowers C half tone or which ever knee levers lowers it on your guitar. RR knee raises the 4th a half tone or which ever knee you use. You can also use a quick slant bar to do it which works great.
Stock pedals 5 & 6
These lessons are the same as a student would take one on one with me in Nashville. They teach the patterns that can be used over many songs.
We have included the:
Noted tablature
Actual samples of the chord melodies played over a rhythm track.
A rhythm track to play by. Both slow and normal speed
A bonus audio taught lick on C6th.

Are the bar slants included as an alternative on the tab? |

David,
There is only one slant that would be required and that is to raise your first string due to the sharp. Of course unless you have that on a pedal.
