I just checked out Bob Hoffnar's myspace cut, sounds great, so I thought I would post mine also. My band is called The Linemen (a vague reference to Wichita Lineman). Lineup is singer/acoustic gtr, steel, bass, drums.

There are 4 rough mixes up from our upcoming CD. I am the recording engineer for the project so the steel is nice and high in the mix HA HA HA.

Hey Scott, Congrats on the project. We have a myspace page as well, at http://www.myspace.com/ausetmusic with Brad Sarno on steel.

Rough cuts as well. We are in full on album mode right now and having a great time. Obviously, its not on the traditional path, but all originals with some dynamic twists and turns. More will be posted as we go. Thanks for sharing your site. Myspace is quite an amazing networking tool. Already been offered gigs and lots of connections so far.

Best,
Auset

Great tunes & great mix. If the first 3 songs had some more backround harmony on the vocals, it sure would be nice. Maybe you can dub them in before making the final CD?

Thanks for the kind words all.

Jay, we will be adding more harmonies. It will be a challenge to reproduce live on the songs I play steel on, but I have been woodshedding playing steel and singing at the same time and I think I will be able to do it eventually. Its a lot tougher than playing guitar and singing that for sure.

Also will be adding mandolin, B3 organ, and some other things on certain tunes.
