Up for sale is my Sho Bud 6139, a transitional model that was available in the early 1970s prior to the Pro 1. This guitar is blonde on birds-eye maple, has 3 pedals, 4 knee levers setup Emmons E9. Rack and barrel with the wide-style pedals. What this guitar lacks in overall cleanliness, snappiness, and youthful beauty, it makes up for in tone and character. I found it to be a good beginner guitar and it continues to play well. Although I have only owned it for the past 3-4 years, the case appears to be original and quite rickety by this point in its life.

A little T L C and this guitar would be real nice. It appears the teardrop knee levers have been milled straight. Possibly for future flag installs. According to Gene, Da Man, this was built in August of 73. Good price and a nice little project for someone. Hi -- sorry, couple of local sales didn't happen and then this week was super busy. Still have the guitar and am lining up another local sale. Prioritizing a local sale, since there seem to be enough people interested at this price and don't want to ship a vintage instrument. |
