Bob Mahaffey

San Antonio-area steel guitarist Bob Mahaffey passed away last week. He was a member of the forum at one time. He played with Billy Mata and The Drugstore Cowboys, who frequently backed up Frenchie Burke.

We worked lots of shows together and I always enjoyed hearing Bob play. He was a sweet gentle soul and was great to hang out with.

R.I.P. Bob.....
