A blues tune for Dobro/Weissenborn/Acoustic lap steel from my book "Dobro Explorations" ..... here's Bessie Smith's classic "Backwater Blues" in D7th tuning (same as open D with the 4th string flatted 1 whole step from D to C). Please consider this arrangement as just a loose guide and play it how you hear it ... but always with feeling. Enjoy!
