What does "hybrid" mean in this context? As opposed to plants. Or cars.

It’s a brilliant design that combined aspects of the Push-Pull technology with All-Pull technology. You can go to google and search patents. Just enter Bruce’s name and you should be able to view it. The drawings Bruce submitted are world class.
