We met Sunday, 11-4 for our
meeting/jam. The players were Billy Phelps on steel, bass, and vocals. Billy also managed the robot drummer, since Bobby Keith couldn't make it. Also, Craig Schmidt on his Zum, Patti Phelps did a great job on keyboard, Andy Johnson on bass and vocals, Jim Saunders on a Mullen, and our featured player, Ray Hadaway on an Emmons and added vocals. We set a record on crowd size, in that the band was larger than the crowd. That is disappointing. The venue is a great place for our jam with plenty of seating. Not enough of our regulars have found their way to the new site?
We are not planning on meeting in December, but watch here for any change in plan. |
