The original tuners aren't working very well, any recommendations on a good replacement?
Shaft dimensions:
Diameter = 6mm (.236").
Length = 27mm (1.06").
Length to string hole=22.6mm (.88").

The originals are individual, 3 on a side, covered open gear type. The covers attach to the guitar's slotted head with 2 screws that are 1" apart on a diagonal configuration. (I can sent photo).

I've been looking at Grovers online, but haven't found a close match for the dimensions.

Also wondered if originally the tuner buttons faced up, like on a lap or pedal steel.

Thanks,

Mark
