Ok I ain't no Buddy Emmons and as far as I'm concerned there never will be any one to compare. I think one of the most beautiful numbers he ever did was "Once upon a time in the West," (I believe it was actually called Jill's theme) Anyway I did my version some time ago with Pete's backing track. I hope you won't crucify me for my version. Thank you.

Dave, you done well. That's a beautiful song and as mentioned, nobody matches Buddy. Your tone and touch was super and I would be proud to reach that level. I have more practice to do now. |

What a great rendition of a classic. One of the songs that made me fall in love with the sound of the pedal steel. |

Dave, very nice. How would a guy go about acquiring this backing track? I cant seem yo find one with the same feel and timing as Buddys version. _________________ 1981 Emmons P/P, P2P Bad Dawg 1x12, Benado Steel Dream, Goodrich L120 volume pedal & BJS bar |
