Laid up for at least 4-6 more weeks I've been going stir crazy so I ordered a Duesenberg Fairytale to keep me company. The pedal system should keep me busy and I like that the pedals give you both D tuning and the top 4 strings of dobro G tuning.

Researching them I got turned on to Martin Huch. I'd seen him on the Duesenberg commercials but didn't click with me until I started looking at all his stuff on youtube. Man, this guy is amazing on that thing For those that haven't seen it, here is the Mr. Hutch playing on the Fairytale commercial

Where in the heck did you order one from?
I've been looking for a while and they are fairly hard to find.
I have one in sight but it won't be in the shop until Sept. 30th.
These guitars are amazing.

Yes, Reverb has one or two...as of this evening.

A couple of weeks ago I received my Melbert 6 string with the Dusenberg "string-bender".

Prepare for a Challenge!!!

Bill,
I've got a Duesey Fairytale--it's a fun guitar. D tuning seems to work best.
Check out this YouTube on working the multibenders. It's a good simple primer for using the levers like the AB pedals on a pedal steel. Check out his part #2 vid also.

Bill,

Did you by any chance get the one at the Rogue Guitar Shop in Oregon?
I was watching that one but didn't want to wait until late Sept. for it to arrive.
I talked to Michael today and he said it was sold.

If you did buy it.....you are evil.

Either way I talked to Michael again today and they are grabbing one for me which will arrive mid October.

These are hard to find.
I'm just going to have to wait a bit for it to get here.
Life is just not fair......... Crying or Very sad
