My guess would be Weldon Myrick, but anyone know for sure???

Pulled my framed copy of ridin` high off the wall in my basement and it confirms Weldon 'speedy` Merrick as steel. They always misspelled his name on a lot of liner notes.

One of my all time favorite albums.
