Hello all,
It's been a dream of mine for years to learn to play the pedal steel. I've manged to save up 1700 dollars for a steel. What is the best option for me? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

Daniel, there are a lot of used pro brand guitars that come up pretty often at that price, so you should be able to get a nice one to start on. GFI, Mullen, Zum, and others also have student models in that range. |

I'd recommend a Zum Encore. |

Fred Justice builds excellent pedal steel guitars, I would recommend looking at what he can do for you. I really like the Justice guitars I have owned. |
