Received my new Melbert 6 string yesterday. Don't really know what "accolades" to add to what has already been said about the Melbert lap steels. You have to play one to fully appreciate the reviews.

Mine has the Dusenburg "Multibender" installed...and a "Hipshot" roller-nut. In my opinion this is the perfect amalgamation of American/German craftsman and value. If you've contemplating adding a "multibender" to a lap steel, the Melbert is an ideal design choice.

This is my second Melbert and I can for-see a future third one to round out the collection (A6,E9,B11).

Thanks Bob A. for an A+ job!

Let's hear some sound samples. I am very interested in the pull string possibilities and resulting pedal sounds.
