Smooth action. In very good condition. Almost like new condition. They work, but they don't work as good as they should. I'm sure the light bulb thingy needs adjusting or something. The one with the black cord was used on the hit song "Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald." I bought it from the player in Canada that used it on that record.
