i just saw where someone had a couple of changes on c6th knee levers that i thought maybe i'd try .i have a extra lever i could put one of them on ,one was lowering the 4th string 1/2 tone and the other was raising the 6th string 1/2 tone.do you get a chord by doing either of these changes? |

I like the A to Ab(G#) change to make an Fmin9, using the 9th string F as a root. |

One of the top players here in Nashville has just added a new KL to his C6-Setup. It lowers the 4th & 8th from (A) to (Ab/G#). I could tell you who, but then; well, you know the rest of that line! Actually, now that I think about it, I remember that, that will be one of the changes on my new guitar, but; my tuning will be C-Diatonic rather than C6.

I lower my fourth but am thinking about tying the eighth in on that same change. |

Lower both A's->Ab's +P5+P6 = Ab13 open. I also lower the 5th string G->F on another lever, which further lowers the flatted 7th to a 6th within the chord, bringing up a Fm chord. It's a standard position for me. [This message was edited by David Mason on 02 December 2005 at 04:21 AM.] |

I don't use the A to Ab very often, but it comes in handy when I suddenly need an augmented chord.
I use the middle E to F a lot. F-A-C-F is an F major chord - very handy in blues or rock tunes.

I use A > Ab it to minor P6. F Ab C E
Like for a Em9 before the F IV chord.
I can also drop my E's to Eb, but at the moment it is one an opposing LK lever... DRAT.
Of course also for the aug.[This message was edited by David L. Donald on 03 December 2005 at 08:23 PM.] |

I have heard Curly use this one and I do on"shadow of your Smile"....
4th string lower A to Ab and also push down P5 with it say on the 11th fret, then let go of the Ab lever , keep P5 down , when you slide to the 10th fret.for a resolve to C7...there is a few jazzy songs where it comes in handy.....al
