I have a broken grover tuner. The pin broke off and it looks impossible to repair. Other than buying 10 new tuners anybody have any suggestions? |

What "pin" do you mean, and which model? Can you post a picture?
Like most techs I have a tone of miscellaneous tuner parts, so you might take the broken one to a guitar tech shop and see if you can match it up. _________________ No chops, but great tone

Jim,
I think Stephen is probably referring to the "pin" that is cast into the back plate of a 210 C Grover. It must have sheared off somehow. It might be possible to accurately drill a hole where the pin was and press in a spring pin of the appropriate diameter.
With that said; I believe Grover tuners come with a lifetime guarantee, so it might be worth it to contact Grover for a replacement. _________________ Best regards,

I would contact Grover. Or contact the company that built the guitar, If still in business. They may have a spare laying around. Good Luck in a replacement and back Steelin. |
