Check out George Boards. They produce fretboards in a variety of scale lengths, and they have a design that is nearly identical to a Fender fretboard.

I'm curious. Why would you want a shorter scale? are you simply moving the nut on a long scale Fender and bolting on a short-scale 'board?
I'm trying to figure out why - with a shorter scale you'll sacrifice tone and sustain. What advantages do you foresee? _________________ No chops, but great tone

Perhaps a tuning that is higher in pitch?? _________________ Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande
There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

Long scale Fender 8----The E9th breaks the high string when tuned to pitch. Going with D9th. Not going to shorten scale. |

Hi Rollie! Is your string breaking where it attaches to the tuning machine? One thing you might want to try is making sure the string has enough windings around the tuning machine to keep the string from being cut by the edge of the attachment hole. |
