Go to:
www.tubesandmore.com
and search for this part:
P-K104
It looks from the photo to be the exact same knob that I've seen on the 60's push/pulls. I've searched for these for a long time and they just popped up in their catalog. I'm not sure, but they sure look close. The paper catalog says they're brown, but the photo looks black. Even if it was brown, it could probably be dyed or painted black.

Brad, just go to the picture you want and Right click on it, and then click on Properties. You will then see the web address of the picture. Highlight the web address, including the http:// and click on EDIT / COPY.
Then open your Forum post and click on PASTE. The web address of the picture will appear, and then you need to put the IMG tag at the beginning and the end of the web address. At the beginning of the web address put: [IMG] and at the end of the address put: [/IMG] Don’t leave any spaces. To see how it’s done go to my post above and click on “edit”.

That usually works but I think it the practice is referred to as "hot linking". Some websites can detect this and block "hot links". (it can cause too much traffic sometimes). Other websites use perhaps a java applet to block the right click (but you can look at the HTML to snag the address anyways). The other option is to copy the image and post on an image hosting site, or your own website etc. Of course, there is always the issue of copyrights etc. |

Thanks for the tips Doug!
Bobbe, glad to hear it. My '66 bolt-on has been wanting its correct knob for a while now. When that knob showed up in a catalog in the mail last week, I couldn't believe it. I had given up the search. Always glad to share!

I already posted this on the ZB thread but I am pretty happy about it . I reckon the knobs --tone / volume-- on a ZB custom are the same as the two big knobs on a Jazz Bass.
