Lever Steel guitar - pickups

I posted in Electronics because I want to ask about pickups for this Lap Steel I built. It has 2 levers, no pedals, and does what A and B pedals do on an E9 pedal steel.

I recognize that tone is personal. I would like to ask what are some favorite pickups for 6 string lap steel? I think I will stay with humbuckers for those times when the room is buzzy.
