I noticed when my picking hand is over my pickups as my palm touches the strings i get a cracking sound or a popping sound . To elimate it from happening I have to pick very lightly. Does anyone have a clue and how to fix it. I think it may be a grounding problem . _________________ Zum,Mullen,Sterio Steel,Little Walter, Fox Vintage,Beard,Fender Lap |

Sounds like the pickup may be harmonic, picking up the sounds of your picks. Grounding issues usually show up as hums. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

Thanks Scott, spoke to Bruce Zumsteg he suggested me to lower the pickups. Problem solved. My base strings were way to close to the PU’s _________________ Zum,Mullen,Sterio Steel,Little Walter, Fox Vintage,Beard,Fender Lap |
