Still looking for a nice auto/manual steel tuner with steady, easy to read (large?) needle display. I have an original Korg but it's manual only.
thx

Hi Bob. I have a couple of Korg AT 12's in excellent condition, one that I use and one safely stored away. If you're interested, I might sell one. Of course they're both automatic and most importantly, have large easy to read, stable meters. |

It's not a "needle display" device as you specify, but I'd sell my Peterson VS-II strobe tuner, with case and leg clamp, reasonably, if you're at all interested. I've used it, probably, about half a dozen times.
Everything does what it's supposed to. I'm just too old-fashioned to depart from my tuning fork.[This message was edited by Dave Potter on 28 July 2004 at 04:22 PM.] |

Bob you could get off some of that money and buy you a LeGrande III.Tune everything 440 except the 3rds which I flat 5 cents.Makes life a lot easier.
OBTW. I have a tuner for sale.If the needle's to small. I'll throw in a pair of WalMart reading glasses. Take Care......bb

Bobby, you went and did it, didn't you.
Seriously---I've played a gig with Bobby Boggs, played Saluda with Mike Bagwell, done bluegrass gigs with Al Osteen, AND, been given the "secret sign" by Ralph Stanley!
I think I'll retire now, it can't possibly improve!!!

I've used a Boss TU-12 for more years than I can count. I decided that it would be kind of handy sometimes to have another one so I just placed an order with MF. The cost is $69.99 and they're hard to beat, complete with chomatic tuning and a sweep needle.

I ended up with a Seiko ST-1200. Very nice tuner with 50/25 cent scale setting, fast/slow, LED's that read flat, sharp or both when tuned, big dial with large numbers, etc, nice backlight, etc. I'm happy
