I am thinking about refinishing my Sho Bud Crossover, but I don't want to take the whole mechanism apart because it works good, is it possible to just remove the wooden top off the metal frame? thanks

I've heard them called boat anchors, but I never thought anyone would actually USE one like that! Wink

Seriously, though... refinishing a guitar of that caliber should be done fully and right, which would involve complete disassembly. Just my $.02
