BCT is Body Contact Technology. Bud Carter developed this in his Carter guitars after around 2004 maybe a little earlier. The finger always touches the body giving it more sustain. The Sho Pro guitars and Marrs guitars do the same thing. The Carter is a very underated guitar. The old Emmons p/p guitars have this although in a different method. I think that vintage of Emmons guitars are still the best sounding guitars anywhere.
