thanks bud, actually tone was way better live, this was just recorded with a cell phone mike. I’m not sure what do you mean by “nasal effect†, only effect I used was Webb reverb, no extra effects... _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

I mean nasal and twangy, like I used to hear in some 80's & 90's Nashville recordings.
It's probably in your hands ! |

funny, I noticed that, I sound very old timely when I play, I guess it comes after listening all those old steel records as a teenager.... if you like that tone listen to this
https://youtu.be/hSRPElWYfdE
that was done on my ‘66 Emmons bolt on, and the tone of the guitar fits very well with my style of playing... _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

Maybe you should use those handcuffs that are hanging on the wall to your right to keep those fellows in line......
Sounds fine, and good playing! |

Great job. Keeping the steel out front the hard way. I guess it made a busy night covering all the parts. Sounds great to me. |

thank you my friend, I put away steel over 10 years ago, and played very very seldom , once in a 6 months for a few minutes maybe, sometimes not even that much, I guess I got burned out, I just recently started playing little more often, maybe couple times a month for couple hours when we have band rehearsal, so it’s little hard for me to cover my parts, let alone everyone else’s parts as well... I don’t miss bar’s , drunks and being on the road all the time, but I do miss music... _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |
