I have a late 80s (was told 89') MCI D-10 8x4. Guitar is Emmons setup. Pickups are BL 705s. This guitar is in excellent shape and has Killer tone. I've owned show pro, emmons , Williams, Mullen etc. and this guitar is one of my personal favorites.
This guitar is triple raise / triple lower. Guitar was cleaned and inspected, all pulls work well and timing is great. This guitar has split cases, they were hand made but the builder did an excellent job. Undercarriage is very clean and neat. Legs and threads are all in great shape. Pedal bar, pull rods are all in excellent working condition as well. This guitar is beautiful and has TONE. All mica is in good shapes with no cracks or breaks, fret boards are in like new condition as well.
I would take other steels on trade with cash my end. May also trade to other higher end guitars.
