10-String Practice Lap Steel. Homemade, with cool Sho~Bud-style headstock and fretboard. $250 plus shipping. No case.
Need a 10-stringer ready to run the latest Buddy Emmons or Charlie Parker lick you're chasing? Don't want to run down to the basement to practice - away from your significant other (then again, maybe you do!!)? Need a traveler for the bus or the beach? This guitar will serve you well and your practice time will jump significantly.
I bought this beauty on the SGF a couple of years ago and play it several times a day. This lap steel is perfect when you want to practice while watching a ballgame or a movie. Keep it in the corner of your living room and you'll grab it constantly.
I just bought a Clinesmith 10-stringer (wow, what incredible instruments Todd makes) and this one needs a new home.
$250 plus shipping, no case.

Hi Steve. Is the string spacing the same as a standard pedal steel?

Hi John,
Side-by-side with my Zumsteel it appears to be identical. But to be honest, the string spacing has always felt slightly tighter, but not enough to throw me off when I move to my double neck. |
