Are gauged rollers made to such tight tolerances that changing the gauge of a string will cause problems? Like changing the 3rd on E9 from an 11 to a 12?

I make them and I doubt that you would notice a .001" difference.

The Franklin does not use gauged rollers. I've changed gauges, using sets other than George L's (my preferred strings) and it didn't make any difference.
