Anyone know of a replacement for these pot metal string anchors/bridges. A couple of extra screws would have prevented the warp in these pieces.

Jerry, Not sure of any replacements for the old Supro Bridges. If you contact George Piburn at George Boards he may be able to help you out. He has a 3D printer and has been making some excellent quality bridges, nuts etc.

BTW.... any chance you will start making guitars again?? _________________ Melbert 8, Remington S8, Silk 6 string, Rick B6, Tremblay 6 lap steel, Marlen S-10 4&4, Prestige Guild M75 and Artist Award, Benedetto Bravo, Epiphone Century Electar (the real one) and a bunch of old lap steels.... mostly Ricks and Magnatones' |

Hey Gary,
Had not considered the 3D printer approach... interesting.
P.S. I'm afraid Masonite is all in my rearview mirror, not that i don't get a pang now and then.
Thanks for asking... Jerry _________________ Jerry Jones |

That's too bad.... I had a Danelectro years ago it was ok. When I got that JJ Neptune !!!.... I gave up the Tele. Great sound, great neck, great over all feel. play jazz these days for the most part, so I use a Benedetto. I grab that Neptune out of the closet a few times a month and jam out at at home. Had many, many offers (including Jack White) but not selling. If you have any in the closet PM me...LOL
Check with George Piburn he may have an answer.

Hello from George Mr.Boards Piburn
Just stumbled across this thread.
I looked for photos , of supros and could not find any with a bridge unit like your photo.
I have a 6 string bridge string ball receiver that will drop right in depending on the size of the foot print of the area.
We can make you something , but the cost to make any is high for just a one piece build.
If we see a potential sale item we gladly invest into the cost to reverse engineer and produce.
More Photos of the exact instrument you are looking to up grade would be helpful.
I am Glad to Help You.

In this case the scale line to instrument butt would be 1.500" _________________ Jerry Jones |

Thanks for looking, George, but I'm going a different direction with aluminum. It'll use the same mount holes as original.
Seems every guitar I've seen with this bridge sufferers the same warp. _________________ Jerry Jones |
