Question about polishing fingers

It is time to plish a couole of my fingers to get rid of that dreaded zing sound. In the last few months this topic came up and Ricky Davis explained the process he used. I can't seem to find this using the forum search. IF anyone could ponit to this topic, or maybe Ricky Davis could respond again. Thanks for your help.
