Mostly about his early days with Blackie Crawford in Texas.
"George Jones, the Singing Marine".......
"Curly had a personality that was kind of weird at times"........
"I was with Blackie in Beaumont when I got my Bigsby"............"God, I regret the day I let that guitar go. I don’t even know what I did with it"......
Etcetera.
With several early pix from Bobby's collection that you won't see anywhere else. |

Having been lucky enough to be in San Jose, Calif. In 67-68 . I spent many nites mourning lost love and PTSD. Listening to Hoyt Henry and the BLACK BROTHERS at Cowtown I believe the lounge was called.
To me BOBBY BLACK is one of the GRAND MASTERS of any style steel guitar.
HOPE TO TALK WITH HIM AGAIN.
HAPPY TRAILS. CAA
