Tom, did it break from an accident? I have an old LDG, and didn't know the pedals could break. I have had to replace some of the (knee pivots?) though. |

Hi Bill. These pedals are precision castings. Finding a welder who will even attempt to re-weld one of these is nearly impossible. I got lucky.
The pedal broke right where it attaches to the section that the 1/2" steel axle goes thorough (where the pedal's shaft joins the rounded base). It broke during shipment of the complete pedal bar that was shipped separate from the guitar case. I think it was just a freak accident since it was packed well. ...Tom |

I thought so, thanks, Tom!
(I have a welder friend who can weld "anything but the crack of dawn or a broken heart"!)
He has helped me with aluminum, cast iron, and all ferrous metals. He showed me 7 different kinds of rod just for different aluminum alloys! |
