Do you think a multibender could be added to this and convert it into a 6 string lapsteel

You can try this, but you need to decide where the screws go. There can only be one screw in the center of the tail piece. And two screws near the pickup. You may need to use a filler plate underneath the bender to match the raised pickup plate.
If you want use the two corner screws opposite the bridge, you may need a plate underneath the guitar to accept those screws.
