Looking to find a good home for this steel, it deserves someone who can really take advantage of it. Got it from Cameron Parsons in August (here is a link to his post with a complete description, codedent and pictures)
https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=318378
Plays and sounds great, and pretty to boot. Mechanics are solid, smooth, and upgraded (Cameron also replaced the problematic dogbones) and sustain for days. Asking the same as I got it for ($2500 and buyer pays shipping) and including everything I got with it including a high end flight case. I kept the "Franklinesque" copedent. (still trying to figure that out)
Hate to let it go, but finances dictate thinning the herd. Paypal preferred.

In case it is holding someone back from picking this item up, just to be clear on one obvious thing in the photos......
The Carter decal......WAS......missing when the photos were taken.
Towards the end of all of the posts in the link, Cameron stated that he reinstalled the Carter decal, but the photos were taken beforehand. |

Thanks to those who have contacted me, looks like this steel is sold pending payment. Experiencing an unusual hiccup with PayPal as the buyer is in Canada, should know in a few days for sure. |

Thanks bOb for reopening this so I could address the following:
1) The Carter sold after more than two weeks of waiting for the transfer of funds into Paypal (no fault of the buyer. Joe, you are a true gentleman) Unusual for Paypal but apparently three banks were involved.
2) Thanks to those who showed interest, sorry I couldn't get you any info earlier, but it was a day to day wait.
3) Thanks to bOb for your patience and help. Can't imagine what it would be like without this forum for not only steel commerce, but info, networking, and just meeting so many great folks. More than happy to donate such a small amount to help keep this afloat.
OK, bOb, close her up. |
