Monthly JAMS of the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association are held the second Sunday of the month from 2 PM to 5 PM at American Legion Post 593, at 326 W. Legion Drive, Converse, Texas. The musical jams are free and open to the public. Food and drink are available for sale, and a donation can is passed to help benefit the Warrior and Family Support Center at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Check local listings for time changes.

| Yes folks, as Ken Metcalf has mentioned, the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association Jam is kicking off this Sunday 02/11 at 14:00 hrs. We are having a "one of a kind" feature guest - Dale Thomas - who not only plays, but also sings while playing this beautiful instrument. The SASGA band is looking forward to playing behind Dale for our opening session of 2018. Also just to mention that Dale, I think, will be at the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree in North Texas the second week of March. So let's all come out to the opening and start out with a wonderful start to our jam sessions. Also want to mention that it is FREE. It's a great afternoon of good music. |
