Hi there, I have a Early 40's National New Yorker that I purchased years ago. It has ha a Humbucker installed in it !!! So I am trying to get an original replacement !! Any ideas ??? Also looking for an original case.
Borrowed pics from Al Schafer's for sale ad. Hope that's ok. Thanks. |

Hey Stewart,
It's not really a humbucker. It is a single coil pickup with 6 individual coils, one for each string. Having said that, it is a great pickup. IMHO, the best of the many variations installed on the New Yorkers.
